Obituary of Timothy Murphy

Timothy Patrick Murphy, 83, of New York City, passed away on February 14, 2021. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church on February 20, 2021 at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Visitation will be held at Glascott Funeral Home on February 19, 2021 at 4pm. Glascott will be handling the funeral arrangements. Timothy was born in NYC to Ann and Edwin Murphy on April 21,1937. He went to high school at St. Monica’s. He worked as an Elevator Operator and helper for Local One IUEC for 43 years. Timothy is survived by his children Timothy Murphy, Janine Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Margaret (Murphy) Treadwell, Karen (Murphy) D’Augusta. He is preceded in death by his wife Margaret (Hurley) Murphy. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart and Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
