Polina Bunraj is my grandmother … born in Trinidad she was a loving wife, an amazing mother of 7 children and a grandmother to 13 and great grandmother to 7. My grandma was the best. They don’t make them like this anymore she was a do gooder and carried me to Trinidad ever so often boasting about me being her grandchild. She loved me differently and taught me the old Indian ways. She loves New York and her strength is inspiration to my very life. Her motherhood and womanhood inspire generations to come .. love you grandma - I think I’m next to have a reincarnation of you .. I hope so
